Here's my second idea to present my photos more creatively...inspired very much by the idea of photos as a visual narrative from watching too much of NatGeo. Take a look, comment and enjoy!

The raw spirit that this young boxer demonstrates, I thought, is simply wonderful. And what better way to pay homage to fighting in all its rawness forms, than to capture it in this simple photo.

The graffiti motif captured in this photo is indeed a gentle reminder that there are talented artists in our midst. I thought the colourful nature of this motif is perhaps a gentle reminder to the varied make-up of our society here in Singapore.

I seldom do night photography due to the exigencies of work, but when the right opportunity comes along, I could never give up on an opportunity to capture the local buildings, in all their lighting glory. Over here is the Singapore National Museum, captured during a particular Night Festival that coincides with the Festival of the Arts.
My maiden ePublication, a coffee-table photo ebook entitled 'interpretations' is now available. Download a sample copy below.

I just love the contrast that the young shoot offers against the grey drab background. Shot at Labrador Park@Singapore, I do wonder whether such a scene is a reminder to us about how life challenges are no different than the state of this young shoot. With a steely determination to survive, its creeping stem manages to find its way between the crevices of the bricked surface, just allowing sufficiently, the final green leave to bud, in all its greenery glory. Perhaps this is an apt reminder of how much parents in genral have sacrificed their creature comforts, so that the generation after them could enjoy the fruits of their labour. Hmmm...
