I just love the contrast that the young shoot offers against the grey drab background. Shot at Labrador Park@Singapore, I do wonder whether such a scene is a reminder to us about how life challenges are no different than the state of this young shoot. With a steely determination to survive, its creeping stem manages to find its way between the crevices of the bricked surface, just allowing sufficiently, the final green leave to bud, in all its greenery glory. Perhaps this is an apt reminder of how much parents in genral have sacrificed their creature comforts, so that the generation after them could enjoy the fruits of their labour. Hmmm...
